Makeup Tips

I have to admit I'm not the best with makeup myself but I am slowly getting better everyday! So let me tell you my top five tips for applying makeup.

1. When applying eyeshadow NEVER use very dramatic colors everyday. Try not to use dark purple, blue, or dark black until you get really good. Stick to neutral colors such as brown, nude, pink, and a light lavender.

2. Lipgloss and lipstick is always a must have for me. I can't go an hour without re-applying my lipgloss! When using lipstick try to go one shade darker or one shade lighter for everyday use. Never use purple, black, or any really dark color. Lip stain will make your lip color stay for longer.

3. Blush is used to bring out the color in your cheeks. I normally use a light pink or a light amount of dark pink. When you are applying blush smile brightly and start from the apples of your cheeks and outward. You will have pretty pink cheeks in no time at all!

4. Mascara... The hardest part about putting mascara on is the clumps! I recommend Almay mascara, because it has zero clumps in it. When starting to wear mascara start with clear so that you can get longer lashes with easier application.

5. Always remember that makeup is to bring out your natural beauty. If you love your eyes than wear makeup that brings out your striking eye color. Never overdo it! Go for a natural look so that it looks like you're not wearing any makeup at all.

5 Cute Trends

            Here are five of my favorite trends this season. You will surely get dozens of compliments wearing this trends.
        
           1. Peter Pan Collars Peter Pan collars are back in season!Just find a cute peter pan collr blouse, then get some super cute skinny jeans and ballet flats and you will be sure to look fabulous!

           2. High-Low Tops High-Low tops are super cute and runway ready. Pair it up with some skinny jeans and strappy sandals.

            3. Houndstooth Print One word... Preppy! Turn a casual look into something chic by adding houndstooth print accesories such as shoes, hats, and hair bows.

           4. Cropped Oversized T-Shirts Perfect if you want to dress casual but cute. Almost all stores sell an oversized graphic t-shirt, but I reccomend Delia*s or Target.

            5. Neon Accesories Even though really bright neon colors are in, I only wear neon as an accesory. Colors like hot pink and bright lime green work best in belts, hair bows, and purses.

Trend Alert: Colored Skinny Jeans

       A popular trend this season is colored skinny jeans, which means that EVERY store has about a rainbow of colors in jeans! Here, I talk about what to colors of denim you should and shouldn't wear.

•   Great colors in skinny jeans are light pink, gray, white, fuchsia, or any light more subdue colors. Hollister and abercrombie kids both have a rainbow of colors to choose from. Gap and Old Navy also have some cute jeans. For red skinny jeans, only wear if you wish to make a bold statement. Another note is to always wear these jeans with a lighter-colored coordinating top.
•    Colors you should avoid in colored skinny jeans are any really bright neon colors, or anything that doesn't match the rest of your outfit. Neon can be over-whelming, and should only be used in accesories.

          Please remember that colored skinny jeans are only a trend ans will soon be out of style. Thanks for reading!
